Heart and Flame Productions presents the World Premiere Pop/Rock Musical, WE ARE THE TIGERS, book, music and lyrics by Rebekah M. Allen, musical direction by Patrick Sulken, choreography by Jacob Brent and directed by Michael Bello. WE ARE THE TIGERS is produced by Matthew P. Hui, Geri Silver and Evan Bernardin. WE ARE THE TIGERS recently completed an artistic residency at New York City's Musical Theatre Factory, where it presented two sold-out workshop performances in August, 2015.

Imagine Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang as anguished teenagers. The Drexel Co-op Theatre Company will stage a production of 'DOG SEES GOD: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead,' an irreverent, yet poignant drama that conceives the teenaged Charlie Brown and his friends as real people dealing with complex issues. The play, which opens tonight, Feb. 13 at 8 p.m. in the Black Box Theater in Drexel's URBN Center Annex (3401 Filbert Street), follows the gang through explorations of sexual identity, self and social hierarchy. Digging deeply, it deals with such difficult topics such as drug use, suicide, eating disorders and teen violence.

Dallas Theater Center announced today the complete cast and creative team for the new rock musical, Fly By Night, directed by Bill Fennelly. This often funny and sometimes deeply moving tale follows a group of New Yorkers during the 1965 blackout. Will Connolly, Michael Mitnick and Kim Rosenstock's vivid characters question the direction of their lives, try to make their dreams come true and fall in love all to the tune of fresh, catchy and original songs. Dallas Theater Center announced today that Austin-based Foe Destroyer and Denton's Max Brown will be the featured musicians in the upcoming production of Fly By Night. The three-member rock band and Max Brown will appear in this new rock-musical by Will Connolly, Michael Mitnick and Kim Rosenstock and directed by Bill Fennelly at Dallas Theater Center from April 26 through May 26.
