Scott Baio to Star in Original Comedy DADDY'S HOME on Nick at Nite

As first reported by Deadline.com, 'Happy Days' star Scott Baio is set to star in Nick At Nite's first original scripted comedy titled DADDY'S HOME. The new half-hour comedy will tell the story of actor David Hobbs (Baio), who decides to become a 'stay at home' dad after nearly 10 years of appearing in a TV show portraying the role of 'America's Favorite Dad'.

War, Muslim Relations, Xenophobia and the struggles of disenfranchised youth are among the contemporary themes highlighted in Les Enfants de Paris, a world premiere musical premiering October 3rd as part of the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Donna Drake directs a cast of seven including, Adam Halpin (Glory Days), Nadine Malouf , Sevan Greene (Aftermath, Betrayed), Megan Reinking (Million Dollar Quartet, Hair, Boardwalk Empire), Jed Resnick (Avenue Q), Dan Kohler (Blue Man Group), and Blake Segal. Seven performances will be held at the TBG Theatre, 312 West 36th Street, 3rd Floor, NYC 10018 beginning October 3, 2011.

Hallmark Channel, Cesar(R) Canine Cuisine, and American Humane Association announced today that popular television star and current 'Dancing with the Stars' contestant, Emmy(R) Award-winning Carson Kressley ('Carson Nation', 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy') will take to the stage as host of the inaugural American Humane Association Hero Dog Awards, presented by CESAR(R) Canine Cuisine and produced by Emmy(R) Award-winning MRB Productions. Following a red carpet, star-studded gala at the Beverly Hills Hilton on October 1, the 'Hero Dog Awards' will premiere as a 90-minute special broadcast on Hallmark Channel November 11, 2011 at 8:00 pm ET/PT.

TV Land Begins Production on HOT IN CLEVELAND Season 3

TV Land announced today that the network's hit original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' begins production on its third season this week. The series, which stars veteran sitcom actresses Valerie Bertinelli ('One Day At A Time'), Jane Leeves ('Frasier'), Wendie Malick ('Just Shoot Me') and Betty White ('Golden Girls'), was just awarded a Creative Arts Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Art Direction For A Multi-Camera Series (Michael Andrew Hynes and Maralee Zediker). Betty White was also recently nominated for an Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the sitcom. 'Hot in Cleveland' will have its season three premiere on Wednesday, November 30th at 10PM ET/PT, immediately followed by the series premiere of TV Land's newest original sitcom, 'The Exes.'

The ladies ruled the kingdom at the '2011 MTV Video Music Awards,' broadcast live this evening from Nokia Theater L.A. Live, as Katy Perry and Adele each took home three VMA Moonmen and Lady Gaga two. Katy Perry won the biggest prize of the night, 'Video of the Year,' with her pop anthem, 'Fireworks,' as well as honors for 'Best Collaboration' and 'Best Special Effects' for 'E.T.' featuring Kanye West. Adding to her reign atop the album charts, Adele won VMAs for 'Best Art Direction,' 'Best Cinematography,' and 'Best Editing.' Genre and gender-defying Lady Gaga kicked off the night as her alter ego Joe Calderone with a show-stopping performance of 'You and I,' and later walked away with two VMAs for 'Best Female' and this year's new category, 'Best Video with a Message.'
