Eva Kantor, 2012 MetroStar Finalist, will bring her first solo show 'The Way I Am' to The Laurie Beechman Theatre, March 29-April 21, 2013, directed by Eric Michael Gillett, with musical direction by Don Rebi and produced by Cookie Stark.

Ni****/Fa****: a new play premiering as part of the Downtown Urban Theater Festival is a two-hander that takes on race and sexuality; a topic that, as the play's title suggests, can often be a provocative discussion. The play, written by Keelay Gipson is being co-produced by BASiC Theatre Project and directed by BASiC's artistic director and co-founder, Zi Alikhan. The show features Sean Bell and Stephen Conrad Moore in the titular roles. The show premieres in the festival tonight, March 15th.

Betty Buckley, currently appearing in London's DEAR WORLD, reunited with some special guests recently: her CARRIE co-star Linzi Hateley and lyricist Dean Pitchford. The actress shared the reunion on Instagram, writing: 'Dean Pitchford, Linzi Hateley & me last night at dinner after 'Dear World.'

Kaplan Penthouse, an intimate yet elegant venue that brings artists closer to the audience in a cabaret-style setting. The second weekend of Kaplan Penthouse performances, the sixth week of American Songbook 2013, runs April 5-6, 2013. Back by popular demand, Well-Strung: The Singing String Quartet, will return to play a limited three-week engagement (tonight, February 28-March 16) at The Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater (10 West 64th Street - located in the YMCA).

Bay Street Theatre has announced its upcoming Spring School Vacation Kids Camp, March 25-29.. The camp is for students age 8 through 12, and runs from 9am - 3 pm each day at the Bay Street Theatre. Cost is $385 for the five-day camp per child.
