Richard Jay-Alexander, known for helming concerts for Broadway superstars Barbra Streisand and Kristin Chenoweth among others, will be honored tomorrow, Wednesday, April 9 with a Legends Honor arts award from Unity Coalition, at the LGBT group's annual Leaders, Legends & Lovelies Ball, according to the Miami Herald.

Playwright Christopher Durang - who won his first Tony Award in 2013 for his comedy VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE on Broadway - will make his debut in the role of Vanya when the play is presented at Bucks County Playhouse (70 S. Theatre Hall of Fame honoree and legendary Broadway star Betty Buckley will be offering a three month Spring Intensive Song Interpretation Workshop at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth beginning April 7. The training will focus on preparations for Story Songs IV, two nights of concerts to be presented in June, starring participants in the workshop.
