Celebrating 35 years of producing award-winning musical theater in Chicagoland, The Marriott Theatre is thrilled to present the stunningly beautiful new musical THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA, previewed July 22nd, opened July 29th, and running through September 20th.

In preparation for the opening of the theater's renovated complex in Southwest D.C., Arena Stage has undertaken ARENA RESTAGED-a two-year festival of American voices. Part Two will continue the remarkable exploration of American work and provide the theater with necessary time to move into the new Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater in time for the Fall 2010 opening.

Theatre Hopkins will open its final production of the season, the area premiere of the Tony award winning musical, 'The Light in the Piazza,' on Friday, June 12, at the Swirnow Theater in the Mattin Center on The Johns Hopkins University's Homewood campus, 3400 N. Charles St. in Baltimore. With a Tony-winning score and lyrics by Adam Guettel and book by Craig Lucas, the production is directed by Todd Pearthree.
