Bravo Media unveiled its largest slate of original programming-to-date with 17 new and 18 returning unscripted series, marking a 15 percent increase over last year, and announced three new scripted projects in development. Additionally, Bravo ranks #9 in the highly desired A18-49 demo and in A25-54, up 5 percent and 7 percent respectively, and up 8 percent in total viewers year-to-date, according to Nielsen.

Based on the book of the same title by Jaap Polak and Ina Soep Polak, STEAL A PENCIL FOR ME, a new opera with music by Gerald Cohen and libretto by Deborah Brevoort, will have its premiere in Scarsdale and New York City, NY in late April, 2013. STEAL A PENCIL FOR ME is a love story set in two concentration camps during World War II. It is based on the true story of Jaap and Ina Polak, whom the composer has known for the last 25 years, and who just celebrated their 100th and 90th birthdays.

Shaquille O'Neal is about to put his own hilarious spin on online videos when truTV's brand new series Upload with Shaquille O'Neal premieres Thursday, Feb. 21, at 10:30 p.m. (ET/PT). Each week on the show, Shaq and his comic friends - co-hosts Gary Owen (Think Like a Man) and Godfrey (The Mr. Men Show) - will scour the internet looking for the funniest online videos and comment on them. truTV has greenlit UPLOAD WITH SHAQUILLE O'NEAL (working title), a new series starring basketball superstar and TNT NBA analyst Shaquille O'Neal.

'Bigger, bolder, broader' is the watch cry as truTV adds several new original series to its production and development slate. The network is placing a strong emphasis on comedic and action-packed 'actuality' programming designed to appeal to its young adult and young male audience. Projects in the works include a unique new game show set on an airplane, which is being developed by Howie Mandel and his production company, Alevy Productions. truTV has also ordered a pilot starring Shaquille O'Neal and developed by Fishbowl Worldwide Media, with America's Funniest Home Videos creator/executive producer Vin Di Bona and Tosh.0 co-creator Mike Gibbons among the executive producers.
