Black Ensemble Theater Founder and CEO Jackie Taylor announces the world premiere musical The Marvelous Marvelettes directed by Black Ensemble Associate Director Rueben D. Echoles. The Marvelous Marvelettes will be presented at the BlackEnsemble Theater Cultural Center, 4450 N. Clark Street in Chicago, July 18-September 7, 2014.

Beginning two-and-a-half hours before the performance, theatregoers are invited to enter the lottery at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), and winners will be drawn two hours before each performance. Limit one entry per person and two tickets per winner. Cash only.

Broadway's smash hit Motown the Musical just marked the production's 500th performance on Broadway last night, June 26 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. MOTOWN THE MUSICAL, featuring music and lyrics from the legendary Motown catalogue and a book by Berry Gordy, opened on Broadway on April 14th, 2013 at The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street). The producers of MOTOWN THE MUSICAL have announced that Josh Tower (The Lion King, original cast of Ragtime) will assume the role of "Berry Gordy" beginning Today, June 17 at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

The Fulfillment Fund is proud to announce the 7th Annual 'The Songs of Our Lives' concert, which will pay special tribute to the songs of internationally acclaimed Songwriter's Hall of Fame and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, songwriter Lamont Dozier and the legendary Songwriter's Hall of Famer, two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer, singer-songwriter, David Crosby. 'The Songs of Our Lives' is a benefit concert showcasing award-winning songwriters performing the hit songs they have written over the course of their career. The Songs of Our Lives provides a unique opportunity to experience these pieces as the songwriter envisioned them. The intimate setting of this event gives guests the chance to be up close and personal with these artists. Award-winning songwriter Charles Fox, a longtime Fulfillment Fund board member along with his wife Joan Fox, created 'The Songs of Our Lives' as an opportunity to combine entertainment and philanthropy in a meaningful way to support the Fulfillment Fund's important work in the community.
