On Monday January 9, Red Bull Theatre will hold a staged reading of PIRANDELLO'S HENRY IV, a new version of the classic play written by Tom Stoppard. Jack Obrien will direct the reading, which will feature the talents of: Richard Easton, Jennifer Ehle, John Elison Conlee, Victor Garber, Darren Goldstein, Mamie Gummer, Aaron Krohn, Patrick Page, Daniel Stewart Sherman, Benjamin Walker, and Paxton Whitehead. Benjamin Walker Film Postponed Due to Budgetary Issues

As first reported on Deadline.com, Legendary Pictures has delayed filming of the upcoming film PARADISE LOST. Shooting for the film was set to begin in January of 2012. Alex Proyas is to direct the epic action adventure which is based on the classic poem by John Milton and tells the tale of good versus evil.

Broadway stars including cast members from Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Ben Walker, Kate Roberts, and Erin Felgar), American Idiot (John Gallagher Jr., Theo Stockman, Rebecca Jones and Libby Winters) and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Celia Keenan-Bolger and Sarah Saltzberg) gathered and sang Monday night at Colt Coeur's 2nd Annual Karaoke Classic Benefit in Brooklyn. Rightor Doyle, Mamie Gummer and Celia Keenan-Bolger chaired the event which raised funds for Play Hotel (Colt Coeur's ongoing reading series, and their principal arena for developing new work) as well as their next production.

The first play to be featured will be MURDER ON GIN LANE by Tony Finstrom. Wayne Rudisill will direct the reading and the all-star cast will include Jeffrey Bruce, soon to be seen in JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECNICOLOR DREAMCOAT at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre; Iris Acker, the host of the local Beacon TV series Onstage with iris Acker; Beth Holland, New York actress and local Board of Directors President of The Symphony of the Americas; and Ms. McArt, who is widely recognized as the First Lady of Florida's Musical Theatre.
