SPARKLE & CIRCULATE with JUSTIN SAYRE - the official monthly podcast of the International Order of Sodomites - has posted its eleventh episode, which features an interview with Brendan Maclean, the acclaimed Australian singer and songwriter. Maclean - hailed as "infectious and hypnotic" by BuzzFeed - discusses his new EP Thought I'd Cry For You Forever, his role in Baz Luhrmann's film The Great Gatsby, his upcoming album with RuPaul's producer Lucian Piane and collaborating with Neil Gaiman on a new song. Internationally-renowned performer Alfie Boe returns to Broadway to star as 'Jean Valjean' in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). Boe begins performances in Les Miserables tonight, September 1.

As reported yesterday, Tony Award-nominee Montego Glover and Alex Finke will join Alfie Boe, the internationally-acclaimed performer who takes over the role of Jean Valjean in Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's Les Miserables, on Sept 1. Glover succeeds Erika Henningsen as Fantine, while Finke (making her Broadway debut) replaces original cast member Samantha Hill. Tony Award-nominee Montego Glover (Memphis) will assume the role of Fantine beginning Tuesday, September 1 in Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new Broadway production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES, now in its second year at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th Street). She succeeds Erika Henningsen in the role. Glover, who also received the Drama Desk and Outer Critics' Circle Awards for her acclaimed performance in Memphis, most recently co-starred on Broadway in the musical It Shoulda Been You. Also on September 1, Alex Finke makes her Broadway debut in the role of Cosette, succeeding Samantha Hill.

Television writer, Sinead Daly (current associate producer and writer, The Get Down (Netflix, Baz Luhrmann) and CBS' Blue Bloods) is also a celebrated playwright. Her moving and imaginative work, PAINTING HIS WINGS makes its New York theatre debut as part of the 2015 New York International Fringe Festival. The play is produced by Making It Happen Productions and is directed by Heather Lanza, the play's original director from its premiere at the 2013 Berkshire Fringe.
