EBE Ensemble will present the fourth annual installment of their award-winning festival of one-act plays, Elephants on Parade 2011 featuring new plays by Daniel Welser Carroll, Matthew Hanf, Alexander Motyl, Michael Niederman, Chris Purnell, and Tom Sime.

Reprise Theatre Company will present 'The Apple Tree' with book music and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick and Jerry Bock, additional book material by Jerome Coopersmith, and based on stories by Mark Twain, Frank R. Stockton, and Jules Feiffer as the third production of its 2011-2012 season, playing April 17 to 29, 2012 at the Freud Playhouse.

Rock and pop legends Ronnie Spector (of The Ronettes) and Jon 'Bowzer' Bauman (of Sha Na Na) team up to host a celebration of the best-loved songs from the late 1950s and early 1960s in an all-new MY MUSIC concert event. Recorded in May 2010, this special offers emotion-packed performances from iconic voices singing songs that have remained popular for over forty years. ROCK, POP & DOO WOP (MY MUSIC) is part of special programming premiering on PBS stations beginning March 5, 2011 and airing throughout March (check local listings).

Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Tony Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Harry Connick, Jr. will star in a reimagined production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER opening fall 2011 on Broadway at a theatre to be announced. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer. Vassar College's Powerhouse Theatre has announced that their upcoming concert production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER, scheduled to run from July 29 to August 1, is completely sold out. However, the Theatre advises checking the box office's website in case additional tickets are released.

The New York Times reports today that Brian d'Arcy James and Anika Noni Rose will lead the 'On A Clear Day You Can See Forever' workshop, directed by Michael Mayer, at the Powerhouse Theater as part of this year's New York Stage and Film series at Vassar College.

According to Michael Riedel of the New York Post ON A CLEAR DAY's director Michael Mayer and playwright Peter Parnell have been working hard at revising the deluded story. Riedel surmises 'In the original, the main character was a kooky young woman who, in a past life, was an English aristocrat. In the new version, the young woman is a young man who, in a past life, was a black female jazz singer.'
