The month of February at the Toronto Symphony Orchestra (TSO) marks the returns of singer & conductor Barbara Hannigan, superstar cellist Alisa Weilerstein, and the National Arts Centre Orchestra. Moreover, Interim Artistic Director Sir Andrew Davis celebrates his birthday on the TSO podium, and some principal players from the Orchestra Jonathan Crow, Joseph Johnson, and Kelly Zimba take centre stage performing Brahms and Debussy.

The Actors Fund held a ribbon-cutting on October 5, 2018 to celebrate the launch of Looking Ahead in New York City, a program which originated in 2003 in Los Angeles and is designed to help young professional performers and their families thrive amid the unique challenges of working in the entertainment industry. The Paul Libin Center serves as the home for the Looking Ahead program in New York City, and is located in Times Square at the main offices of The Actors Fund at 729 Seventh Avenue on the 12th floor.
SAG-AFTRA And SAG-AFTRA Foundation Join Forces, Bring Sexual Harassment Counseling Services

SAG-AFTRA and the SAG-AFTRA Foundation announced today they are jointly working together to bring workplace sexual harassment counseling services for members of the union. Now available, the services are administered by trained counselors at The Actors Fund, a national human services organization for entertainment, media and performing arts professionals.

Conveniently located at 729 7th Avenue in Times Square, The Samuel J. Friedman Health Center for the Performing Arts will serve as the medical care provider that is solely focused on the particular health care needs of the entertainment and performing arts community.
