Feinstein's at Loews Regency is closing their Fall 2011 season with the return engagement of the club's founder Michael Feinstein and Tony Award winning Broadway legend Barbara Cook from through December 30. To celebrate Barbara Cook's 2011 Kennedy Center Honor, the club is rolling back prices to when the club opened in 1999 for the month of December: $60 cover and no minimum. Their show will feature gems from the great American songbook by Irving Berlin, Duke Ellington and Rodgers & Hart, in addition to Broadway hits and holiday classics. The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts this year honors singer Barbara Cook, singer and songwriter Neil Diamond, cellist Yo-Yo Ma, saxophonist and composer Sonny Rollins, and actress Meryl Streep as their 2011 honorees. The special broadcast of the gala will air on December 27 on CBS.

Lincoln Center's acclaimed series American Songbook returns to the elegant Allen Room in January for its fourteenth season celebrating the diversity of American popular song. For 16 nights the series will explore the best of the golden age of musical standards through to today's most dynamic songwriting. Week One of the 2012 season will start off with a relatively new composer on the scene, multiple Tony-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) who will be bringing his new rap composition about American historical figure Alexander Hamilton called The Hamilton Mixtape. Next up is the just-nominated-for-a-Grammy Award duo Chris Thile and Michael Daves, who play a dazzling, modern form of bluegrass that nonetheless references legendary bluegrass artists from the past. From the rock canon will be J.D. Souther, performing songs he wrote for Linda Ronstadt and the Eagles as well as newer compositions. To close out Week One, composer William Finn (Falsettos, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), along with guest vocalists, will be performing a song cycle inspired by the poetry of William Blake.

Jeff Lindberg's Chicago Jazz Orchestra (CJO) has been chosen to perform at the 34th Annual Kennedy Center Honors Gala on December 4, 2011 in Washington, D.C.

Skylight presents the premiere of Beyond the Ingénue, featuring Niffer Clarke and Richard Carsey. Coming off Skylight's critically acclaimed production, The Music Man, Clarke and Carsey reunite for a musical theatre piece that pays homage to the golden-voiced sopranos Niffer Clarke grew up idolizing.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post will help celebrate the holidays with a very special appearance by TV and stage star TONY DANZA. Danza will return to Feinstein's at Loews Regency as the special guest of the club's founder MICHAEL FEINSTEIN for three shows only at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street). They will take place on Thursday, December 1 at 8:30 PM; and Friday, December 2 at 8:00 PM and 10:30 PM.
