Famed tenor Anthony Kearns, a founding member of The Irish Tenors, will perform during a special Irish-themed reception and tribute to U.S. military today, February 28, 2015 at the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Va. To coincide with World Day for Social Justice on February 20th, Girl Be Heard will bring together actors from around the globe (who are flying in for this production) to present BREAKING THE SILENCE WITH GIRL BE HEARD at the Soho Playhouse (15 Vandam Street) for three performances only, Thursday, February 19th, Friday, February 20th and Saturday, February 21st at 8PM. These performances come just two weeks after President Obama announced his campaign to end the violence against women and girls in a remote video on the 2015 Grammy Award's telecast. In an effort to break the cycle of silence around gender-based violence this, groundbreaking collaboration features selections from Breaking the Silence, written for Human Rights Watch, and Girl Be Heard's, Trafficked and disPLACEd.
