The National Ballet Of Canada Tours To Hamburg, Germany

Karen Kain, Artistic Director of The National Ballet of Canada, today announced the principal casting for the company's upcoming tour to Hamburg, Germany with an all-Canadian programme featuring The Dreamers Ever Leave You by Choreographic Associate Robert Binet, James Kudelka's The Man in Black and Emergence by Crystal Pite. The National Ballet will perform as part of the 44th Hamburg Ballet Days, a two-week festival of dance, for two performances July 3 - 4, 2018 at Großes Haus. This will be the company's first appearance in Hamburg since 1994.

The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica presents Bedlam, the acclaimed New York based theatre company, with a fresh kinetic look at two plays with four actors, playing 49 characters in William Shakespeare and George Bernard Shaw's most famous creations, side by side, Hamlet and Saint Joan, in repertory April 5 to 15 at The Broad Stage. Marshall Ellis Dance School will launch its junior dance company, ME1st, next month. The program is for dancers ages 8-13 in Central Florida and provides an opportunity for them to train and perform in a positive, professional atmosphere. To be considered for ME1st, interested dancers should attend an audition class at ME Dance School. Based on skill and potential, they can be invited to join ME1st.
