FOX Picks Up Sixth Season of BOB'S BURGERS

FOX has renewed BOB'S BURGERS for a sixth season, ordering 22 additional episodes of the Emmy Award-winning animated series, it was announced today by Dana Walden and Gary Newman, Chairmen and CEOs, Fox Television Group.

Comedy Dynamics Announces Partnership with SF Sketchfest

New comedy channel Comedy Dynamics is happy to announce its first partnership with SF Sketchfest. In addition to being a major sponsor, (along with Funny or Die, SF Weekly and others), Comedy Dynamics will also be represented on the ground by President Brian Volk-Weiss, who will be a featured panelist at the 14th Annual Festival. Other highlights of SF Sketchfest include: A Tribute to This is Spinal Tap creators Christopher Guest, Michael McKean, and Harry Shearer, 'Weird Al' Yankovic in conversation with the Nerdist Chris Hardwick and a Newsradio 20th Anniversary cast reunion.

In the first TV event of the new year, NBC is giving its landmark comedy “Parks and Recreation” a sendoff that will maximize the show's cultural impact. The seventh and final season of this critically-acclaimed and beloved series will begin Tuesday, Jan. 13with back-to-back episodes (8-9 p.m. ET/PT) and continue with back-to-back episodes each week until the hourlong series finale on Tuesday, Feb. 24following “The Voice.”

Comedy Central and The New York Comedy Festival have teamed up again for the fifth annual 'Comics to Watch' showcase which is taking place at Carolines on Broadway tonight, November 5 at 7:00 p.m. as part of the 2014 New York Comedy Festival.
