Casting highlights for Vassar & New York Stage and Film Powerhouse Theater's second Mainstage production, Mozhan Marno's When The Lights Went Out, and the Martel Musical workshop of the new Simon Rich/Peter Lerman musical inspired by The Brooklyn Hero Supply Company, have been announced. In addition, casting highlights for the season's Inside Look Workshops, Found and Mother of Invention have also been announced. Annabella Sciorra heads the cast of Downtown Race Riot, a portrait of a city and a boy in crisis written by Seth Zvi Rosenfeld, tonight, June 26-July 7, 2013.

MARRY HARRY is an official selection of the 2013 New York Musical Theatre and will be presented by the New York Musical Theatre Festival. Lindsey Ferrentino's new play Moonlight on the Bayou will have a staged reading today, May 3rd, 4:30pm at The Marilyn Monroe Theatre in New York (115 E. 15th St). The reading is directed by Patricia McGregor (Hurt Village, The Mountaintop), after being developed with renown dramaturg Mark Bly (33 Variations).

Atlantic Theater Company has just announced casting for the world premiere of Rod McLachlan's new play GOOD TELEVISION, directed by Bob Krakower. The cast will feature Talia Balsam, Jessica Cummings, John Magaro, Kelly McAndrew, Zoe Perry, Luke Robertson, Andrew Stewart-Jones, and Ned Van Zandt.

New York Stage and Film (Johanna Pfaelzer, Artistic Director; Thomas Pearson, Executive Director; Mark Linn-Baker, Max Mayer, Leslie Urdang, Producing Directors) and Vassar College (Ed Cheetham, Producing Director) have announced the line-up of their 2013 Powerhouse Theater Season, which includes new works from actor, writer and prolific, Grammy Award-winning musician Steve Martin and Tony Award winner Lin-Manuel Miranda, the creator of Broadway'sIn the Heights, among many others. The 2013 Powerhouse Theater Season runs from June 21st - July 28th at Vassar College (Poughkeepsie, New York), and a full calendar and description of events are below. The Ensemble Studio Theatre will honor two of Broadway's most distinguished producers, Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel, at its 45th Anniversary Gala, Monday evening, May 20, at 6:30pm at SIR Stage 37, 508 West 37th Street. Tickets are $500 and $1,000.

The 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation, opens with the world premiere of Sam Mark's The Delling Shore, directed by Actors Theatre's associate artistic director Meredith McDonough. The Delling Shore is playing in the Bingham Theatre and begins previews tonight, February 27, opens March 1 and runs through April 7.

Songs in Celebration of a New Day will be an evening of original music celebrating the future of Atlantic Theater Company, newly reinvigorated in its renovated home at the Linda Gross Theater.
