The Drama Desk Award-winning Celebrity Autobiography will perform its new edition,Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter on Wednesday, February 15, at 8pm, as a special benefit for SLAM (Sobriety, Learning and Motivation), a board dedicated to the creation of New York's first recovery based high school. Celebrity Autobiography: The Next Chapter performs at the Triad Theater, 158 West 72 Street.

Deadline.com reports that Director Mikael Hafstrom is in talks to take on directing duties in the upcoming action film THE TOMB. The movie will star Sylvester Stallone, who is currently working on the 2012 film 'Bullet to the Head'.

SILENCE! The Musical, the unauthorized parody of The Silence of the Lambs, with book by Hunter Bell, music & lyrics by Jon and Al Kaplan, and direction & choreography by Christopher Gattelli, is set to begin a new winter playing schedule beginning January 12th at The 9th Space Theatre at Performance Space 122, 150 First Avenue (at 9th St.) SILENCE! The Musical opened July 9, 2011 to unanimous rave reviews, led by David Cote of Time Out and New York 1 News who said, "Pungent, punchy and raunchy, with a sheepish chorus to boot, the consummately silly SILENCE! will leave you stuffed and wanting mutton more." The show immediately became a sold-out smash hit and was just selected by Time Magazine as one of the year's Top 10 Plays and Musicals along with such lofty company as The Book of Mormon and War Horse.

Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top 100 standup comedians of all time, Sinbad has built a loyal following by taking day-to-day life situations and causing an uproar of comedic hysteria. Sinbad's not any kind of choirboy, but he is the son of a preacher man. He decided to keep his comedy clean after his father attended one of his early (less clean) performances, and says that he learned that night that "funny is funny," no need for profanity.
