Production Underway for EPIC Original Spy Series BERLIN STATION

Premium TV network EPIX(R) announced today that production has started on Berlin Station, the 10-part contemporary spy series produced by Paramount TV and Anonymous Content. Shooting will take place in Berlin and the series will premiere on EPIX in the fall of 2016.

Premium TV network EPIX announced today that Richard Armitage (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, 'Hannibal') has been cast as the lead in Berlin Station, the 10-part contemporary spy series produced by Paramount TV and Anonymous Content. Armitage will portray Daniel Meyer, the cerebral, newly-anointed CIA case officer who goes from being an analyst at Langley to an undercover agent in Berlin tasked with finding an informant. Also joining the ensemble cast is Emmy Award nominee Michelle Forbes ('The Killing,' 'True Blood,' The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2) in the role of Valerie Edwards, the no-nonsense administrator who serves as a Berlin Station Section Head.

CBS Films announced today that it has acquired U.S. rights to the action heist thriller COMANCHERIA. David Mackenzie ('Starred Up') is set to direct the film from a screenplay by Taylor Sheridan ('Sicario'). Sidney Kimmel, Peter Berg (Film 44) and Julie Yorn (LBI) will produce the film with Carla Hacken and Gigi Pritzker serving as executive producers.

Cast Members from the Broadway musical IF/THEN will perform the songs of the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning writing team of Tom Kitt and Brian Yorkey on Monday, March 2 at 54 Below (254 West 54th street). There will be two performances - 7:00pm (sold out) and a special added 11:30pm (tickets available). The one-night only concerts were originally scheduled for Monday, January 26th, but were re-scheduled due to winter storm Juno.

Based on the novels of Max Allan Collins, the show will be directed and executive produced by Greg Yaitanes (CINEMAX's Emmy-winning “Banshee”; Emmy winner for directing “House, M.D.”), along with executive producer Steve Golin (HBO's Emmy-nominated “True Detective”). USA Network announced the pilot pick-up of the CBS Television Studios and Universal Cable Productions drama EVIL MEN, starring Dallas Roberts (“Dallas Buyers Club”) and Clifton Collins Jr. (“Pacific Rim”). The pilot is from writer and executive producer Daniel Taplitz (“Breakin' All the Rules”). Gary Fleder (“Life Unexpected”), Eric and Kim Tannenbaum (“Two and a Half Men”) and Mary Beth Basile (“October Road”) also serve as executive producers. Fleder is set to direct.
