Geffen Playhouse has announced the addition of award-winning playwright Anna Ziegler's Actually to its 2016/2017 season, a co-world premiere with the Williamstown Theatre Festival. The production is slated to run May 2, 2017 through June 11, 2017 in the Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater at the Geffen Playhouse. Opening night is May 10, 2017.

The Playwrights Realm, led by Founding Artistic Director Katherine Kovner and Producing Director Roberta Pereira, has announced that tickets are now on sale for the world premiere of Sarah Delappe's The Wolves (August 29-September 24, 2016).

American Theater Company (ATC) has restructured its 2016-17 Season and will present three of four previously announced plays, with an updated production schedule.

Playwright Chisa Hutchinson (Dead and Breathing, Dirt Rich, She Like Girls, This Is Not the Play, Sex on Sunday) leads writing workshops and a public Q&A as part of the Dramatists Guild Fund's Traveling Masters Program on July 27 at 4:00 PM at the Frank Center (260 University Drive Shepherdstown, WV 25443).

Just announced, Dress Circle Publishing will release THE UNTOLD STORIES OF BROADWAY, VOLUME 3, the latest in a series by acclaimed historian and producer Jennifer Ashley Tepper on Tuesday, November 15.

Led by Founding Artistic Director Katherine Kovner and Producing Director Roberta Pereira, The Playwrights Realm will kick off its 2016-17 10th anniversary season with the world premiere of Sarah Delappe's The Wolves. Directed by Lila Neugebauer and featuring a company of ten female actors, DeLappe's award-winning debut play will be presented at The Realm's new home for the season The Duke on 42nd Street, August 29-September 24, 2016.

In its 25-year history, New Georges has brought forth an unprecedented generation of women playwrights and directors, providing them with steady artistic support and first or career-transforming productions in New York City. New Georges will celebrate its anniversary season with the World Premiere of Hilary Bettis' Alligator, directed by Elena Araoz, presented in collaboration with The Sol Project this fall, and of Sheila Callaghan and Daniella Topol's collaboratively-created Water at 3LD Art & Technology Center in June of 2017 as part of Water City, a multi-disciplinary art event. 

Summer means camp, and so it is at Theater J, which has been decked out in pine board, nature paintings and signs made of sticks for its closing production of the season, Another Way Home by Anna Ziegler.

Building on the success of 2016's spring season, which garnered a total of eight Off West End Award nominations and included Stuart Slade's highly-acclaimed BU21, Theatre503's autumn season comprises of four works of outstanding new writing.

Philip Kan Gotanda, award-winning playwright and filmmaker, led a Master Class at Portland Center Stage on June 3rd as part of the Dramatists Guild Fund's Traveling Masters Program in partnership with MediaRites' Theatre Diaspora. 

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced additional programming and casting for the 2016 summer season. Additions to this season's slate of events include the legendary Late-Night Cabaret, the always popular Fridays@3 Reading Series, and this year's Boris Sagal and Bill Foeller Fellowship Projects.

American Theater Company (ATC) proudly announces Season 32, led by its newly appointed Artistic Director Will Davis and continuing the theater's dedication to developing new works. The 2016-17 season kicks off this September with the world premiere of Dan Aibel's T., an exploration of the competitive ice skating saga between Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding, directed byMargot Bordelon, Sept. 23-Oct. 30, 2016. In the New Year, ATC presents Jaclyn Backhaus' Men On Boats, making its regional premiere at ATC Jan. 6-Feb. 12, 2017, under Will Davis' direction after he remounts his acclaimed New York production Off Broadway at Playwrights Horizons this summer. Next spring brings another world premiere at ATC, Basil Kreimendahl's We're Gonna Be Okay, March 17-April 23, 2017. Manhattan Theatre Club, in partnership with the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, announces the upcoming Sloan Panel Discussion on INCOGNITO, which will be held following tonight's May 17 performance of the play at MTC at New York City Center-Stage I (131 West 55th Street), and is open to anyone attending the evening's performance.
