Good Theater has announced the annual presentation of its Broadway at Good Theater concerts December 2-6.  These fundraising events feature two special guests, Broadway star Kenita R. Miller, singing sensation Nicolas Callaway Foster and a dozen Good Theater performers.

British actress Liz Robertson is making her Manhattan cabaret debut at Feinstein's/54 Below on Wednesday, November 18th at 9:30pm. Her show is called SONGS FROM MY TRUNK, which she brought over after performing it at London's Crazy Coqs. She will be accompanied by Mark Janas. A special treat will be a guest appearance by Broadway legend Len Cariou who not only co-starrred with her in DANCE A LITTLE CLOSER, but was also the original 'Sweeney Todd' on Broadway.

Ann Hampton Callaway to Perform Songs from THE HOPE OF CHRISTMAS at Barnes & Noble, 12/1

On December 1st at 7 pm at at Barnes & Noble located at 150 East 86th Street, Ann Hampton Callaway will perform selections from THE HOPE OF CHRISTMAS, a new collection of Christmas songs interpreted by the multiplatinum-selling singer, Tony nominated actress, pianist and leading champion of the American songbook, with lyrics by two-time Emmy Award winner William Schermerhorn. Schermerhorn will join Callaway in the discussion, with Alex Rybeck on piano.

On Thursday, November 26, indulge in a Thanksgiving dinner that combines time-honored holiday tradition with the exceptional creativity and quality that exemplifies Chef Bound's food program at Feinstein's/54 Below. The Actors Fund, in association with Michael Childers, will present a one-night only special event, Tradition: The Jewish Legacy of Broadway, a celebration of the great Jewish composers, lyricists and performers who graced the stages of Broadway from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, on Monday, December 14 beginning at 7:30 p.m. at John Jay College (524 West 59th Street).   All proceeds will benefit the programs and services of The Actors Fund.

The collaboration between Ann Hampton Callaway and lyricist William Schermerhorn on the new holiday season CD called The Hope of Christmas is, alas, unsuccessful. Though Schermerhorn's lyrics can be pleasing, some worthy of considerable play, the over-produced collection burdens them with music that evokes not a moment of holiday feeling. There's swing, mute-horn jazz, samba, and a bit of New Orleans. Melodies are neither light, nor spiritual or celebratory.
