ME, MY MOUTH AND I - a new solo play written and performed by Joy Behar - will be given its world-premiere production at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St.) this fall, with previews set to begin tonight, November 6 prior to an official opening set for Sunday, November 23. The production will play a limited 7-week engagement through December 21.

New York Stage and Film has announced that its Annual Winter Gala, to be held this year on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at The Plaza Hotel (770 Fifth Avenue, New York City), will honor Tony Award winner Michael Mayer and veteran theatrical press agent Rick Miramontez.

The League of Professional Theatre Women (LPTW), as part of an initiative called Women Count, are pleased to present an analysis of women employed Off-Broadway in the four most recent theatrical seasons. A number of efforts to count, study, analyze and report on the status of women in theatre, in recent years, have focused on playwrights and directors. This new study looks at a broader range of professional roles with a specific focus on Off-Broadway productions.

The producers of Will Eno's new play The Realistic Joneses have announced a general rush policy. A limited number of rush tickets, which are subject to availability, can be purchased at the box office of the Lyceum Theatre when the box office opens for the day of the performance on a first-come-first-served basis. The box office of the Lyceum Theatre opens at 10am Monday through Saturday, and at noon on Sunday. Rush tickets are $35 each and limited to two (2) tickets per customer.
