Stephen Sondheim's second book, a follow up to his 'Finishing The Hat', is now available for pre-order. Entitled, 'Look, I Made a Hat: Collected Lyrics (1981-2011) with Attendant Comments, Amplifications, Dogmas, Harangues, Wafflings, Diversions and Anecdotes,' Amazon is taking pre-orders here. The book was scheduled for release on October 25, 2011, but has now been moved to November 22, 2011.

Ginger Rogers to be Celebrated at Tsai Performance Center, 10/24

GINGER ROGERS, the Academy Award winning screen legend from the films 42nd Street, Top Hat, The Gay Divorcee and dozens more, would have been 100 this year. She will be celebrated with a live performance and an exhibition of her archive and memorabilia created in celebration of her life and career as one of America's most luminescent and talented motion picture actresses. The special exhibition opens at Boston's Mugar Library Building on Monday, October 24. Hosted by Nick Clooney, the event will feature an appearance by special guest Angela Lansbury. The live performances will debut at the Tsai Performance Center (October 24) in Boston and the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline (October 25).
GLEE Cast to Be a Part of Emmys Ceremony?

GLEE star Jane Lynch will host the 2011 Emmy Awards on September 18. She'll be only the third female to host the show by herself in the history of the awards show- the others being Angela Lansbury and Ellen Degeneres. Lynch just told the Hollywood Reporter that she's trying to work the rest of the GLEE cast into the ceremony. Lynch told THR: 'I've pitched a couple of ideas for the Glee cast. I bet there will be an appearance.'

Today we are talking to the man who makes all of the magic available to see in the Shakespeare's Globe Film Series actually happen onstage in the first place - such as this week's stunning showing of HENRY IV: Part 2 on August 18 -Shakespeare's Globe Artistic Director, Dominic Dromgoole.
