Milwaukee Repertory Theater presents the critically acclaimed adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's classic storyJane Eyre in the Quadracci Powerhouse beginning April 25 through May 21. Directed by KJ Sanchez (Harvey, The Diary of Anne Frank), Jane Eyre is a passionate romance meets thrilling psychological drama performed by ten actors playing more than 20 roles.  The production combines Victorian-era costumes with inventive staging to bring new creativity and vitality to the classic story, considered one of the most widely read novels in the English language.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey (STNJ) welcomes the holiday season with a true theatrical gem, A Child's Christmas in Wales now through January 1st.The show features outstanding direction by Joseph Discher, musical direction by Robert Long and a stellar cast.

Last presented here 13 years ago, many patrons have asked us to bring this musical celebration of the season back to our stage. Based on Thomas' classic story about his childhood holidays in Wales in the early 1900's, this beautiful piece about a time gone by rejoices in the simple joys of childhood, the spirit of goodness, the comfort of family, and the magic that music and the imagination bring to us all.

The Glasgow Light Opera Club (GLOC) is proud to present its production of the much-loved Fiddler on the Roof at the King's Theatre from Tuesday 1-Saturday 5 November.

There are some St. Louis connections in this current production of PETER AND THE STARCATCHER. There's local author Ridley Pearson who, along with Dave Barry, crafted a terribly interesting and arresting 'prequel' to the story of Peter Pan with their entertaining novel Peter and the Starcatcher. The stage version of this tale, written by Rick Elice, is an equally imaginative and inspired effort that utilizes a relatively small cast, with just about everyone playing multiple roles, that takes off at a frenetic pace that captures the same qualities that distinguished the original work. I'd seen a touring version over a year ago, but this production by The St. Louis Repertory Theatre is absolutely amazing. It just seems fresher, more touching, and more joyful. I highly recommend this show, as it appeals to families with humor and heart that anyone old or young can enjoy!
