Broadway In Chicago, along with Starvox Entertainment and June Entertainment present SHERLOCK HOLMES at Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Last night, Starvox Entertainment and June Entertainment wowed guests with the Toronto gala performance of Sherlock Holmes: A New Theatrical Adventure. To celebrate the show's Toronto run, guests were invited to a star-studded red carpet performance at Ed Mirvish Theatre.

David Arquette will star as SHERLOCK HOLMES in an original adaptation inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic tales by playwright Greg Kramer.  SHERLOCK HOLMES premiered in Montreal in 2013 in a sold-out, critically acclaimed production at The Segal Centre directed by Andrew Shaver, who will remount the show for a North American tour, starting in Los Angeles and playing six 'tour preview' performances at The Ricardo Montalban Theatre from October 15-October 18.   

Broadway In Chicago and producers Starvox Entertainment and June Entertainment have announced the full cast for SHERLOCK HOLMES.  JAMES MASLOW, the actor and singer perhaps best known for playing the role of James Diamond in Nickelodeon's 'Big Time Rush' and a member of the band with the same name, will star as the legendary Dr. John Watson, along with RENNE OLSTEAD, best known for her role as Lauren Miller in the TV sitcom 'Still Standing,' and as Madison Cooperstein in 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager,' as the well-to-do-American, Lady Irene St. John, opposite DAVID ARQUETTE in the title role as SHERLOCK HOLMES.  The two actors will make their stage debuts in this new and original adaptation inspired by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic tales by playwright Greg Kramer and directed by Andrew Shaver scheduled to play Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W Randolph) November 24 - 29, 2015.

Due to popular demand, two performances have been added to the Segal Centre's production of The Graduate, adapted for the stage by Terry Johnson and directed by Andrew Shaver. Audiences are flocking to the Segal's 2014-2015 Season opener, which premiered on September 4th to rave reviews and tremendous buzz. The production will run until September 23rd, 2014.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts dives headfirst into to its blockbuster 2014-2015 Season with The Graduate, Terry Johnson's hit stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning 1967 film written by Calder Willingham and Buck Henry and the 1963 cult novel by Charles Webb. The Segal Centre for Performing Arts is proud to announce that three performances have been added to its new production of The Seagull, adapted and directed by Peter Hinton.

The Segal Centre for Performing Arts will present the world premiere of Peter Hinton's adaptation of The Seagull, starring Lucy Peacock and Diane D'Aquila. This comic and bittersweet re-imagining of Anton Chekhov's masterpiece plays in the Segal Theatre for a limited engagement from February 2nd to 16th, 2014. The Seagull is presented with the generous support of Delmar.

The METAs are proud to announce the 2012-2013 Winners

The First Edition of the Montreal English Theatre Awards (METAs) were held Monday night at the Rialto Theatre. Approximately 230 of the English theatre community attended this formal event. Awards were presented to professional, independent and community theatre companies.

The Segal Centre has announced that two performances have been added to the world premiere of Sherlock Holmes, starring Jay Baruchel.

Centaur Theatre will present SideMart Theatrical Grocery's award-winning production of Haunted Hillbilly. Based on Derek McCormack's novel of the same name, this 'eerily funny, musical country romance' is written by Graham Cuthbertson and directed by Andrew Shaver.

Centaur Theatre's 2012-2013 Season will open with the North American Premiere of an international Dance/Theatre/Music/Performance work directly from Aarhus Denmark inspired by the music and lyrics of Leonard Cohen Dance me to the end on/off Love.
