The NBC Owned Television Stations division of NBCUniversal today announced it is producing two-and-a-half hours of special coverage that will air on the 10 NBC-owned stations leading up to THE 70TH ANNUAL GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS airing on Sunday, January 13 on NBC at 8-11 PM ET / 5-8 PM PT.

Rory O'Malley has announced on his Facebook page today that he will be exiting the Tony-award winning musical BOOK OF MORMON. According to the post, his last performance will be on Sunday, January 27th.

TVGuide.com reports that 'Book of Mormon' star Andrew Rannells will be giving up his role on the HBO comedy series GIRLS midway through the current season. In an interview with The Huffington Post, the 'Next to Normal' star revealed that taking on two series at once proved too much for him.

Elsewhere, Rocky (NeNe Leakes) and Jane (Ellen Barkin) help Shania (Bebe Wood) deal with some mean girls.

HBO has officially picked up a comedy pilot from GIRLS scribe Bruce Eric Kaplan, the network announced today. The pilot, PEOPLE IN NEW JERSEY, follows two siblings living just south of New York, who desperately attempt to get through life on a day-by-day basis. SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's Lorne Michaels will produce alongside acclaimed director Jason Reitman and Kaplan.

Shania, however, takes it one step further by suggesting they give up all modern technology including heated toilet seats. Meanwhile, Rocky (NeNe Leakes) unleashes an online beast when she shows Jane (Ellen Barkin) how to use twitter. Hoping to gain more followers, Jane posts a private video from Bryan which was meant to surprise David On their future wedding day. Shocked at the invasion of privacy, Bryan is appalled until the cast of his show "Sing" tells him what they think of the tweet. THE NEW NORMAL airs on NBC on Tuesday, November 13 at 9:30pm!
