The League of Chicago Theatres announces the 2013 Spring Gala, an elegant, extravagant evening celebrating the 175th Anniversary of Chicago theater. This one-night-only event brings together supporters from the community to champion more than 200 Chicago theatre companies. This year's event will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. in the Grand Ballroom of the luxury hotel InterContinental Chicago, 505 N. Michigan Avenue, Chicago.

The Rubin Museum will explore illusion and human perception in this year's edition of the popular Brainwave series of on-stage conversations between mind scientists and thinkers from diverse walks of life. Opening today, February 6, the series will include 20 on-stage conversations, 50 film screenings, and an interactive experience in which the museum will become a Memory Palace. While illusion is usually associated with vision, the series will engage audiences through all five senses to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject.
GIBSON GUITARTOWN ON THE SUNSET STRIP Charity Auction Set For 2/22

The 10-foot tall Gibson guitar art sculptures that have lined THE SUNSET STRIP will end their year-long tour on Friday, February 22 when they are auctioned for charity at a gala event at Bonhams in Los Angeles. All proceeds from this auction will benefit the Los Angeles Fund For Public Education's "Arts Matter" campaign, which supports art and music education in L.A. public schools.

Joining the cast of The Secret Garden at The King's Head is veteran comedian and actor Freddie Davies who is recreating the role of Ben Weatherstaff for this concert staging having appeared in the original R.S.C and West-End production. The concert version will play 10 February - 17 March, 2013. Press night is 11 February at 7:15pm.

Celebrating 26 years of service to Southern Nevada's HIV/AIDS community, Golden Rainbow presented its annual "Ribbon of Life" fundraising production at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, June 24. Approximately 1,630 attendees filled the breathtaking Reynolds Hall as 380 performers from the best Strip shows and entertainment companies took the stage in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
