As Frances Ruffelle wrote in her column for The Huffington Post, she was recently invited to a private party at Cameron Mackintosh's home and mingled with 'some of the world's top theatre creatives' such as Stephen Sondheim, Les Miserables film director Tom Hooper and the original Les Miserables theatre directors Trevor Nunn and John Caird. In a 'deliciously memorable moment', she introduced Hooper to Nunn and Caird, and 'they looked like they were getting on famously.'

Adam Brody to Guest Star on Showtime's HOUSE OF LIES

Noted actor Adam Brody (The O.C.) will guest star in two episodes of the upcoming second season of the hit SHOWTIME comedy series, HOUSE OF LIES. Brody will play the owner of an adult toy company who forms a relationship with Jeannie (Kristen Bell). The series, which stars and is executive produced by Don Cheadle in his Emmy Award-nominated role, returns on Sunday, January 13th at 10:00 PM ET/PT on SHOWTIME. HOUSE OF LIES also stars Ben Schwartz, Josh Lawson, Dawn Olivieri, Donis Leonard Jr. and Glynn Turman. Brody joins previously announced guest stars Larenz Tate, Nia Long and Lisa Edelstein.

LES MISERABLES star Amanda Seyfried stopped by 'Late Show With David Letterman' last night to chat about the challenges she faced while filming the musical drama. 'You really basically have to live like a monk,' explained the actress. 'You don't drink alcohol because it dehydrates you, you drown yourself in water...you go home at night and you just sit because you don't want to get sick. Because if you get sick, filming basically has to go to a halt.' Check out her appearance below!

Rock icon Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones presents the "Top Ten Things I, Mick Jagger, Have Learned After 50 Years in Rock n' Roll" on the LATE SHOW with DAVID LETTERMAN, Tuesday, Dec. 11. Keith Richards, who had been previously scheduled to present the Top Ten along with Jagger, was at home under the weather and unable to participate in tonight's Top Ten.
Fandango Reports THE HOBBIT Accounts for 76% of Today's Ticket Sales

Fandango is reporting that two upcoming releases are leading today's ticket sales: THE HOBBIT: AN UNEXPECTED JOURNEY, which opens this Friday, represents 76% of pre-sales, and the big-screen adaptation of LES MISERABLES, which opens Dec. 25, holds the second slot with 10%.
