THE OJAI PLAYWRIGHTS CONFERENCE (OPC) one of the top play developmental institutions in the country, will celebrate its 15th Anniversary Season with its very best program of playwrights, readings and special performances yet! This anniversary year will feature nine events over five days including the return of playwrightTerrence McNally with a brand new work! Other established and up-and-coming playwrights attending with new works this anniversary year will include: Luis Alfaro, Liza Powell O'Brien, Robert Askins, Jennifer Haley, Matt Hoverman, withStephen Adly Guirgis & Nikkole Salter attending as "Writers In Residence."

Rubicon Theatre Company's Producing Artistic Director Karyl Lynn Burns announces the next performance in the company's Broadway Cabaret Benefit Series, which takes place tonight, June 11 at 7:00 p.m. Ovation and NAACP Award-winner Daniel Tatar kicks off the evening with solo renditions of Broadway hits and contemporary favorites. Following intermission, Tatar will be joined by other members of the singing group The Company Men, who will mash the hits of six decades in tight four-part harmonies with choreography.

Concerts for City Greens, the award-winning free outdoor concert series, will present five concerts throughout the summer beginning today, May 30. Produced and hosted by Raissa Katona Bennett, the fifth annual edition of the summer series will showcase the songs of eight songwriters who are the semifinalists in the first Concerts for City Greens Songwriting Contest.

Concerts for City Greens, the free outdoor concert series that brings the sounds of music to the heart of Midtown, kicks off its fifth season on Wednesday May 30 at 6:30pm at Tudor City Greens. (Rain date: Thursday May 31 at 6:30pm.) "…in the spring, becomes The Rose," a salute to Golden Globe winner Amanda McBroom, features these special guests -- the seven-time MAC-winning singer Natalie Douglas; the MAC and Bistro Award winning singer Kevin Dozier, and the singer/songwriter and Broadway music director John DiPinto.

Concerts for City Greens is dedicating four of this summer's free, outdoor concerts to the music of its illustrious song contest judges. The award-winning series, that brings the sounds of music to heart of Midtown, will showcase Amanda McBroom (May 30), Neil Sedaka (August 1), Ann Hampton Callaway (September 12) and Michael John LaChuisa (October 3). These four - plus David Friedman and Matthew Parillo - are serving as judges for the first Concerts for City Greens Songwriting Contest. (The quadruple-platinum songwriter and Today Show regular David Friedman provided the theme of last summer's concert finale, and Matthew Parillo, a two-time Emmy Award-winning MTV Networks executive, has yet to begin his songwriting career.)
