Acorn TV is sharing a sneak peek video clip from the highly anticipated premiere of its new original mystery series, Mrs Sidhu Investigates, starring Meera Syal (The Kumars at No. 42, Yesterday, Anita and Me), Gurjeet Singh (Ackley Bridge), Craig Parkinson (Line of Duty, Grace) and Naana Agyei-Ampadu (Death in Paradise).

GHOSTS stars Rose McIver, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, Richie Moriarty, Danielle Pinnock, Asher Grodman, Román Zaragoza, Sheila Carrasco, Rebecca Wisocky and Devan Chandler Long. Executive producers are Joe Port & Joe Wiseman, Mathew Baynton, Jim Howick, Simon Farnaby, Laurence Rickard, and more.

Today, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) announces the U.S. and U.K Jury members for this year’s BAFTA Breakthrough initiative, supported by Netflix.

Hulu has renewed Harlots for a third season of 8-episodes.

Netflix and CBC have renewed the award-winning Anne with an E from Northwood Entertainment for a highly anticipated third season (10 x 60). Inspired by the timeless Canadian novel Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery, the third season of Anne with an E will continue to tell the coming-of-age story of an outsider who, against all odds and numerous challenges, fights for acceptance, for her place in the world, and for love.

Today details are announced for Power, Gender and the Arts, an afternoon of debate, discussion and performance that will explore the history and reality of power in the creative industries and create a living manifesto for change.

ANNE WITH AN E Will Return to Green Gables on 7/6

Netflix, the world's leading Internet entertainment service, announced today that the universally acclaimed series Anne with an E returns for a second season on July 6th. The expanded ten episode season from Miranda de Pencier's Northwood Entertainment launches exclusively on Netflix everywhere, excluding Canada (where it debuts this Sept. 23 on CBC).
