Hugh Salmon’s moving, affecting and humorous debut play INTO BATTLE has made it across the pond and will be is now available to stream on demand through popular theatre streaming channel Broadway on Demand.

Broadway On Demand will present the exclusive premieres of two grand-scale productions. The premieres include Something in the Game: An All-American Musical, a tribute to the late legendary Notre Dame coach Knute Rockne, and the Off West-End hit Into Battle, the true story of a 1910 feud at England’s Oxford University.

Following its critically acclaimed sell-out run at the Finborough Theatre in 2016, the world premiere production of It Is Easy To Be Dead becomes the first Finborough Theatre production to be made available for free viewing online.

Philip Franks' take on The Tempest is one of four productions playing in rep at the theatre over the summer (the others being Hamlet, Twelfth Night and Henry V). Franks builds on the magic and mystery at the heart of The Tempest in a production which takes a while to find its groove but is not without a healthy smattering of captivating moments.

Casting has been announced for the 2019 York company of SHAKESPEARE'S ROSE THEATRE, the award-winning pop-up Shakespearean Theatre, which makes a triumphant return to the foot of Clifford's Tower in York this summer with new productions of Hamlet, Henry V, The Tempest and Twelfth Night. The plays have been selected from across the genres, offering something for everyone, and will be performed in repertory by two companies of actors.

It Is Easy To Be Dead, Neil McPherson's beautifully written and significant play opens at The Tivoli, Aberdeen on Tuesday 6 November and will be followed by performances at Òran Mor, Glasgow from Sunday 11 to Wednesday 14 November.

Mrs. Sharpe's (Anna Mottram) run-down boarding house is the home of a bizarre group of people. In a new production commissioned by the Finborough Theatre, a unique rediscovery of The Passing of the Third Floor Back by Jerome K. Jerome, author of Three Men in a Boat, opens at the Finborough Theatre for a four week limited season on Tuesday, 28 November 2017 (Press Nights: Thursday, 30 November and Friday, 1 December 2017 at 7.30pm).
