#EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum.

Forbidden Broadway creator Gerard Alessandrini visits THEATER TALK to discuss his newest and perhaps most au courant theater parody Spamilton, the critically acclaimed 'skewering' - for which he is writer and director - of Hamilton, the biggest Broadway hit of our time. The cast of Spamilton, currently at The Triad Theatre, joins him and performs highlights of three numbers from the show.

The countdown is on as the time window for voter registration grows smaller for most states. For the October 13th digital #Ham4Ham, members of the Hamilton cast in Chicago performed a cover of Phillip's verse in the musical's song 'Take a Break,' urging people to get out and register to vote. Fans may not be able to see the epic Ham4HamShow outside the Richard Rodgers anymore, but Joshua Henry, who plays Burr in the current Chicago production of Hamilton, is keeping them musically entertained in the meantime. Henry's taken to posting videos of himself (and, sometimes, other cast members) covering songs from the beloved show. His latest take is an acoustic cover of Obedient Servant, and you can check out the video below!
Seth Stewart Will Take Over as HAMILTON's Lafayette/Jefferson Full-Time

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Seth Stewart has officially taken over the role of 'Lafayette/Jefferson' in Hamilton on Broadway. Stewart was one of three understudies who alternated the role since Tony winner Daveed Diggs' departure in July. He assumes the role full-time through the end of the year.

National voter registration for voters from all 50 states will be conducted by members of the cast of the Broadway musical HAMILTON on Wednesday, September 28 and again on Saturday, October 1 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St. NYC), where HAMILTON performs. (Tuesday, September 27th has been designated as National Voter Registration Day across the country.)
