#EduHam is a series of HAMILTON Wednesday matinees made available to New York City schools with a high concentration of students from low-income families for the ticket price of only $10. This educational partnership, made possible through a $1.46 million grant by The Rockefeller Foundation, is not only providing 20,000 NYC public school students with the opportunity to see HAMILTON on Broadway, but provides educational material by Gilder Lehrman to incorporate material from the musical into the American History curriculum.

Forbidden Broadway creator Gerard Alessandrini visits THEATER TALK to discuss his newest and perhaps most au courant theater parody Spamilton, the critically acclaimed 'skewering' - for which he is writer and director - of Hamilton, the biggest Broadway hit of our time. The cast of Spamilton, currently at The Triad Theatre, joins him and performs highlights of three numbers from the show.

Actor and Hollywood Records recording artist, Jordan Fisher will make his Broadway debut in Hamilton when he begins performances as John Laurens and Philip Hamilton on Tuesday, November 22.

The countdown is on as the time window for voter registration grows smaller for most states. For the October 13th digital #Ham4Ham, members of the Hamilton cast in Chicago performed a cover of Phillip's verse in the musical's song 'Take a Break,' urging people to get out and register to vote. Tony Award nominee Christopher Jackson will play George Washington in the Broadway production of HAMILTON one last time on Sunday, November 13. Jackson is currently filming CBS-TV's 'Bull' and has recorded an original song written by Lin-Manuel Miranda for the new Disney film Moana in theaters this November. Mr. Jackson originated the role of George Washington and has played the role in HAMILTON since the musical began performances last year at the Public Theater.

Tony Award-winning musical Hamilton and Creative Goods Merchandise LLC, the only supplier of official merchandise for Hamilton, announce an exclusive retail location. The Hamilton Shop, the first Broadway store dedicated solely to one show's merchandise, is located across the street from the Richard Rodgers Theater at the Paramount Hotel (235 West 46th Street). A lawsuit has been filed by producers of the mega Broadway hit musical HAMILTON against merchandisers who have been illegally hawking t-shirts and other goods featuring the iconic logo from the show.

Election day is quickly approaching and the company of Hamilton continue their efforts to make sure that your voice is heard.

Fans may not be able to see the epic Ham4HamShow outside the Richard Rodgers anymore, but Joshua Henry, who plays Burr in the current Chicago production of Hamilton, is keeping them musically entertained in the meantime. Henry's taken to posting videos of himself (and, sometimes, other cast members) covering songs from the beloved show. His latest take is an acoustic cover of Obedient Servant, and you can check out the video below!

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Seth Stewart has officially taken over the role of 'Lafayette/Jefferson' in Hamilton on Broadway. Stewart was one of three understudies who alternated the role since Tony winner Daveed Diggs' departure in July. He assumes the role full-time through the end of the year.

Producer Jeffrey Seller and Broadway In Chicago have announced a day-of-show digital lottery for Hamilton, launching in Chicago today, September 27, 2016 at The PrivateBank Theatre (18 W. Monroe).

Of all the hashtags and memes that Hamilton has inspired, one of the most enduring (and certainly the cutest!) has been #Hamilkids. Today, in celebration of the first anniversary of the Broadway cast album's release, kids from around the world united-via the internet, at least-to pay tribute to the beloved musical with one of its most iconic songs, 'The Room Where It Happened.' 

National voter registration for voters from all 50 states will be conducted by members of the cast of the Broadway musical HAMILTON on Wednesday, September 28 and again on Saturday, October 1 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St. NYC), where HAMILTON performs. (Tuesday, September 27th has been designated as National Voter Registration Day across the country.)
