American Blues Theater Presents Regional Premiere of RANTOUL & DIE, Opens 4/22

American Blues Theater (ABT), Chicago's second oldest Equity Ensemble, caps its 2010-2011 Season with the regional premiere of 'Rantoul & Die' by Mark Roberts, directed by Erin Quigley. 'Rantoul & Die' will take place in the Victory Gardens' Richard Christiansen Theater April 22-May 22. Previews are April 22-25; press opening is Thursday, April 28. The production features ensemble member Alan Wilder with Abu Ansari, Carolyn Defrin, James D. Farruggio, Caroline Heffernan, Franette Liebow, Zachary Keller, Larry Neumann Jr., Elaine Roth, Gary Simmers, Philip R. Smith, Sandra Watson, Bubba Weiler, Claire Wellin and Dexter Zollicoffer. To Kill a Mockingbird runs October 12 - November 12, 2010 in Steppenwolf's Upstairs Theatre, 1650 N. Halsted St. Weekday matinees (Tuesdays - Fridays) are reserved for school groups only, with weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) performances available to the public. Single tickets go on-sale Friday, July 30, 2010.
