Y es que la compañía La Nota Teatre transporta una parte del epicentro de las grandes propuestas musicales al Versus Teatre de Barcelona con un objetivo, reflexionar sobre las producciones actuales haciendo un guiño al origen del género musical. Una meta que ya se deja entrever en el propio título del montaje.

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) in association with Edward Negley, Neil Berg and Adam Friedson, has announced a new addition to one of the best reviewed Off-Broadway shows of the year, Closer Than Ever with Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr. and Music by David Shire: Broadway veteran Leslie Kritzer (A Catered Affair, Sondheim on Sondheim, Legally Blonde, The Musical) beginning August 28, 2012. Ms. Kritzer will step in for Julia Murney who departs the cast on August 25th.

Newsies has just announced that Corey Cott will become the show's new leading man, Jack Kelly, beginning Wednesday, September 5th. Cott became the Jack Kelly alternate earlier this month and will continue as alternate until he assumes the role full time.
