The L.A. Times has confirmed that members of the GLEE cast will be appearing on The Oprah Winfrey show on April 7, 2010, two days after the cast performs at the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. Oprah will interview Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Matthew Morrison, in addition to creator Ryan Murphy, who are so far scheduled to attend. The episode will, naturally, feature a performance. Oprah airs at 4:00pm EST on ABC.

This juxtaposition of two monumental exhibits is the embodiment of Black History Month: artist and children's book illustrator Jerry Pinkney exhibits watercolor paintings depicting historic figures and events in black history, while Pete Souza, the Chief Official White House Photographer, displays behind-the-scenes photographs of President Barack Obama's first year in office, from dinner with his family to a snowball fight with Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. These two exhibitions viewed together give a glimpse of where we've been and how far we've come.

Classic Stage Company (CSC), under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick and Executive Director Jessica R. Jenen, will present VENUS IN FUR, a new play by David Ives, directed by Walter Bobbie, beginning performances January 13 at Classic Stage Company (136 East 13th Street).
