Jedlicka Performing Arts Center concludes its 2012-13 season with the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Monty Python's SPAMALOT with book and lyrics by Eric Idle, music by John Du Prez and Eric Idle, directed by Dante J. Orfei, music direction by John Warren and choreography by Christopher Pazdernik. Monty Python's SPAMALOT plays April 19 - May 4, 2013 at the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, 3801 S. Central Ave. in Cicero. Tickets are currently available at www.jpactheatre.com or by calling (708) 656-1800. The press opening is Friday, April 19 at 7:30 pm.

Happy Birthday, Christopher Sieber! Sieber made his Broadway debut as Agis in the musical Triumph of Love with Betty Buckley and F. Murray Abraham. Following this role, he appeared as a replacement in the roles of Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, Trevor Graydon in Thoroughly Modern Millie and Billy Flynn in Chicago. Sieber played the role of Rapunzel's Prince and shared the role of the Wolf with Gregg Edelman in the revival of Into the Woods in 2002.
In March 2005, Sieber originated the role of Sir Dennis Galahad in the Broadway musical Monty Python's Spamalot. He starred as Lord Farquaad in Shrek the Musical which opened on Broadway on December 14, 2008, after an out-of-town tryout in Seattle. On March 11, 2011, Sieber replaced Jeffrey Tambor as Georges in the Broadway production of La Cage Aux Folles opposite Harvey Fierstein.

Musical Theatre West's latest top-notch production is the hilarious regional premiere of the Tony-winning musical Monty Python's SPAMALOT. Full of silly humor and absurdist gags that will have you laughing throughout the show, the show continues at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach through July 15. One of the most amusing shows MTW has ever mounted, it features a stellar ensemble cast led by Davis Gaines and Tami Tappan Damiano.

Clay Aiken treats fans to a newly packaged collection of heartfelt songs with Steadfast, to be released March 29th on Decca. Steadfast revisits the best of 2010's release Tried and True, featuring selected cuts from that record alongside a newly recorded, original song/radio single, "Bring Back My Love." Rounding out the disc are thoughtful covers of Neil Sedaka's "Breaking Up is Hard to Do," and Connie Francis', "Who's Sorry Now." Steadfast arrives on the heels of Clay's appearance as a contestant on the upcoming season of NBC's hit show, "The Celebrity Apprentice," premiering February 19th.

Jeffrey Tambor has withdrawn from the Tony Award-winning revival of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, following the Thursday, February 24 performance. Tambor started performances on Tuesday, February 15 in the role of Georges, opposite four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein as Albin.

PBS describes the broadcast as 'a television special featuring Clay Aiken and guest stars Ruben Studdard and Linda Eder performing great romantic hits of the '50s, '60s and '70s. Clay and his guests are accompanied by a full orchestra in the Big Band tradition.'

Decca released Clay Aiken's fifth studio album, Tried and True, today. The bulk of the album is made up of songs from the 1950s and 1960s that Aiken listened to as a child in Raleigh, North Carolina.
