ABC's 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition,' which has won two Emmy Awards for Outstanding Reality Program and two People's Choice Awards, will return for Season 8 in the 2010-11 season. Joining the series will be Jillian Harris, a successful designer for restaurants, residences, furniture and fashion who previously was featured as 'The Bachelorette' in that series' Season 5; Xzibit, a tireless performer in music, film and television; and Leigh Anne Tuohy, also a successful interior decorator, best known for being portrayed by Sandra Bullock in this year's Oscar-winning 'The Blind Side.'

Chazz Palminteri, star and writer of the one-man play A BRONX TALE, was honored at a special luncheon at the Via Roma on Federal Hill on Wednesday, April 7. The luncheon was attended by Mayor David N. Cicilline, 13th Ward Representative John J. Lombardi, and more than a hundred Federal Hill business leaders. Proceeds from the luncheon will benefit the annual Columbus Day Parade.

This is a friendly getaway filled with informal participatory music making; a weekend with music all around. You'll find instrumental jams, ballad singing, contemporary songs, traditional songs, and whatever! And, yes, there are also jigsaw puzzles and people out skiing, sledding, shopping, and hiking.

THE PUPPETMASTER OF LODZ Begins Theatre Project 2009-10 Season, Opens 10/9

Theatre Project kicks off its 2009-10 subscription series Oct. 9-25 with Gilles Segal's 'The Puppetmaster of Lodz,' Performance Workshop Theatre's revival of its critically acclaimed production. Directed by Marlyn G. Robinson, it stars Marc Horwitz, whose performance in the title role twice earned Baltimore City Paper's best actor award, in 1995 and 2002.
