New York City Ballet's 2015 Fall Gala will once again bring together the worlds of dance and fashion with a program consisting of five ballets each featuring original costumes created by an international roster of six of the fashion world's most exciting creative artists.

Thomas P. Campbell, Director and CEO of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, announced today the list of speakers and performers who will participate in an all-day TEDxMet event today, September 26, 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The theme of the program is The In-Between.

Rita Moreno returns to music with her first all Spanish Album- Una Vez Mas. The album was produced by Grammy winning producer Emilio Estefan and Nicholas Tovar. The album contains for the first time in Spanish, 'Somewhere' from West Side Story. Rita is the first Hispanic artist to win all four major American entertainment award including an Oscar, an Emmy, a Grammy and a Tony. In December, Rita will receive the Kennedy Center Honor.

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts today announced additional major gifts for the Kennedy Center Expansion Project, the institution's first new construction since opening in 1971.

City Theatre is looking for wonderful short plays (up to 10 minutes) for its 2016 production of the Summer Shorts Festival and other programming. Having produced hundreds of plays, City Theatre seeks lively and timely, hilarious and provocative, poignant and surprising scripts that rise above the ordinary. Submissions will be accepted from August 30 - September 30, 2015.

Casting has been announced for the brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien. The musical masterpiece returns, direct from Broadway! As part of their 50th Anniversary Season, Roundabout Theatre Company just announced that the national tour of SAM MENDES (Skyfall, American Beauty) and ROB MARSHALL'S (Into the Woods and Chicago, the films) Tony Award®-winning production of CABARET, will premiere in Providence, RI at the Providence Performing Arts Center with performances beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26 through Sunday, Jan. 31 and an official opening on Thursday, Jan. 28 2016. This tour ofCABARET marks Roundabout Theatre Company's third production on the road, having previously produced the critically acclaimed tours of Twelve Angry Men and Anything Goes.
