La producción de LOS ÚLTIMOS CINCO AÑOS se despidió de su elenco original para dar paso a uno nuevo que se hará cargo de continuar la temporada. La dupla de actores conformada por Aitza Terán (El Rey León, Despertando en Primavera), y Rodrigo Giménez (Mentiras, Cuando los hijos regresan), encarnaron a Jamie y Cathy desde el pasado noviembre de 2017 en el Teatro Xola, Julio Prieto.

Offering a first look at the year ahead in independent film, culture and new ideas, Sundance Institute announced today the 65 films selected for the U.S. Competition, World Competition and out-of-competition NEXT category set to premiere at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival, January 21-31 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah. Films that have premiered in these sections include Beasts of the Southern Wild, Fruitvale Station,Whiplash, Blackfish, The September Issue, The Cove, An Education, Animal Kingdom, Precious, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night, Obvious Child, Tangerine and Escape from Tomorrow.

Jose Rivera, the Obie Award-winning playwright and Academy Award nominee (The Motorcycle Diaries) will move from the page to the stage when he joins the cast of his play Massacre (Sing to Your Children), having its world premiere at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater (224 Waverly Place - off Seventh Avenue South, between Perry & West 11th Streets), it was announced today. Mr. Rivera will play Erik, the character created by original cast member Adrian Martinez, who is leaving the production due to an imminent film commitment.
