Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. will open its 30th and final season with the powerful war drama GUARDIANS by Peter Morris, directed by Arianna Soloway and featuring Jaci Entwisle and Adam Soule. GUARDIANS will play tonight, September 8, through October 18, 2015 at Angel Island, 735 W. Factory Theater presents Hotel Aphrodite by Angelina Martinez, directed by Matt Engle, playing previews today, November 7th and Saturday, November 8th at 8pm and Sunday, November 9th at 3pm. Opening Night Performance: Friday, November 14th at 8:00pm. The run continues Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 3pm through Saturday December 20th. (No show on Friday, Nov. 27th)

Broken Nose Theatre (BNT) is continues its second season with the Chicago Premiere of From White Plains, written by Michael Perlman - in collaboration with Aaron Rossini, Craig Wesley Divino, Karl Gregory, and Jimmy King, the actors in the original production - which from its initial run went on to receive the GLAAD Award for Best New Off-Off Broadway Play. Directed by BNT Ensemble Member Spenser Davis, From White Plains will run in the Downstairs Studio at the Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 North Lincoln Ave., tonight, January 24th - February 23rd.

Strawdog Theatre Company's 2013 - 2014 season opens with Conversations on a Homecoming by Tom Murphy, now through September 28, directed by Jonathan Berry, 3829 N. Broadway Street. Preview performance tickets are $15 with performances continuing Aug. 23 and 25. There is a Board Preview performance, Saturday, Aug. 24 at 7 p.m., with $50 tickets that include access to a post-performance reception.
