It's getting down to the nitty gritty in Idol-land, with the season ten finale three mere weeks away. Three weeks! Where has the tie gone? While the bunch that's left certainly isn't the top five that I would have picked out, it's very difficult not to feel totally invested in their fates considering that I've been writing about their every move since January. Season ten of American Idol has introduced many welcomed changes that have revamped the show for the better. As previously announced this year, this time around we won't see the contestants tackle artist specific challenges as much as we will genre centric themes. Only five times in the show's history have Idol finalists gone retro with the sounds of Motown (not since season eight), and tonight they got to tackle the classic music yet again.
