Feinstein's at Lowes Regency, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its star-studded Fall 2009 season with the debut of Tony Award winning actress and vocalist Victoria Clark and Tony Award winning music director, arranger and orchestrator, Ted Sperling in 'The Vicki and Ted Show.' For their engagement at Feinstein's, Ms. Clark and Mr. Sperling celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of a remarkable friendship that began as students at Yale University and inspired some of Broadway's most unforgettable moments, including How to Succeed in Business..., Titanic and The Light in the Piazza. Their acclaimed show - which debuted at the Kennedy Center's Terrace Theater in Washington DC - will make its New York debut the Regency Hotel. The show is running through Saturday, October 24.

Acclaimed theater company Playwrights Horizons (Tim Sanford, Artistic Director; Leslie Marcus, Managing Director) has announced nine initial performers who will participate in the return of its unique benefit evening STORIES ON 5 STORIES on Monday, November 9. Among those taking part in the special event will be two-time Academy Award winner and two-time Obie Award winner Diane Wiest (Memory House at Playwrights Horizons/PH, Hannah and Her Sisters, Bullets Over Broadway), Tony Award winner Debra Monk (Assassins at PH, Redwood Curtain, Curtains), Obie Award winner Jason Butler Harner (current Stage Manager in Our Town, Hedda Gabler, The Coast of Utopia), Clarence Derwent Award winner Zoe Kazan (100 Saints You Should Know at PH; Come Back, Little Sheba; Things We Want), Theatre World Award winner Cassie Beck (The Drunken City and Prayer for My Enemy at PH), Cristin Milioti (The Retributionists at PH, the upcoming The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter), Sue Jean Kim (The Drunken City and BFE at PH, 365 Days/365 Plays), Carmen M. Herlihy (The Thugs, Crooked) and Greg Keller (Broadway's Uncle Vanya, The Rainmaker). Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

West Coast Ensemble presents the fourth and final show of their 2009 season, THREE TALL WOMEN, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Edward Albee and directed by Michael Matthews (Stupid Kids, The Bacchae). THREE TALL WOMEN will preview on Thursday, November 12 and Friday, November 13 at 8:00pm and will open on Saturday, November 14 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, December 20 at West Coast Ensemble - The El Centro Theatre, 800 N. The romance of Florence comes to life on stage as Philadelphia Theatre Company continues its 2009-2010 season with the hit Broadway musical The Light in the Piazza with book by Craig Lucas and music and lyrics by Adam Guettel on November 13 - December 6. Directed by Joe Calarco, the ensemble cast features Whitney Bashor, Sherri Edelen, Joe Guzman, Ken Krugman, Kyra Miller, Fran Prisco, Matthew Scott, and Maureen Torsney-Weir.

West Coast Ensemble presents the third show of their 2009 season, the West Coast Premiere of ANITA BRYANT DIED FOR YOUR SINS, written by Brian Christopher Williams and directed by Richard Israel (Big, Floyd Collins). ANITA BRYANT DIED FOR YOUR SINS will preview on Wednesday, August 19 and Thursday, August 20 at 8:00pm and will open on Friday, August 21 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, October 4 at West Coast Ensemble - The El Centro Theatre, 800 N. El Centro Ave. in Hollywood.

Theatre, film, television and music star Michael McKean will reprise his role as donut shop owner Arthur Przybyszewski in the Broadway premiere of Steppenwolf Theatre Company?s new American play Superior Donuts, by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning ensemble member Tracy Letts, directed by ensemble member Tina Landau. Mr. McKean originated the role during Superior Donuts? sold-out, world premiere at Steppenwolf last summer. Full casting will be announced shortly.

Superior Donuts, Steppenwolf's new American play by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning ensemble member Tracy Letts will follow Letts' Tony Award-winning play August: Osage County into The Music Box Theatre (239 West 45th Street), beginning performances on Wednesday, September 16, 2009, with an officially opening on Thursday, October 1, 2009.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company is pleased to announce its new American play Superior Donuts, by Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning ensemble member Tracy Letts and directed by ensemble member Tina Landau, will open on Broadway October 1, 2009 (at a Shubert Theatre to be announced). Superior Donuts makes its Broadway debut direct from its sold-out world premiere at Steppenwolf last summer. Casting for the Broadway engagement will be announced shortly.

A touching homage to his father, Humor Abuse opens Philadelphia Theatre Company's 2009/2010 season at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre. Co-written by Pisoni and Erica Schmidt, who also directs the piece, Humor Abuse runs September 25-October 25.
