Charter Oak Cultural Center announced today that it will be hosting a virtual edition of the 4th Annual Hartford Jewish Playwriting Contest.

The Jewish Plays Project is taking its National Playwriting Contest online and is seeking dedicated theater lovers and Jewish culture aficionados to vote for a winner in the Contest.

LCT3 has announced that Heidi Armbruster, Adam Dannheiser, Aasif Mandvi, Omar Maskati, and Karen Pittman will comprise the cast of five of DISGRACED, a new play by Ayad Akhtar, directed by Kimberly Senior, which will open LCT3's 2012 - 2013 season beginning Sunday, October 7 through Sunday, November 18 at LCT3's new home at Lincoln Center Theater, the Claire Tow Theater (150 West 65 Street). Opening night is Monday, October 22. LCT3 is producing this New York premiere of DISGRACED by arrangement with the Araca Group.
