The brilliance of the first season of HOMELAND lay in the fact that complicated people were making complicated decisions. Showtime's Homeland is gearing up for a major creative overhaul for its 4th season. Following the departure of Damian Lewis, the leading man, at the end of season 3, the show plans to make major changes to the cast list and setting. Showrunner Alex Gansa revealed some of the upcoming changes in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

Season four finds Fara in a key role working for Carrie at the CIA. The network's No. 1 rated series with seven million weekly viewers, HOMELAND begins production on season four this summer and will premiere in the fall on Showtime.
