Lyons and Pakchar are a new contemporary writing duo blending Pop/R&B for the Theatre. Their debut album #LOVE, which explores the good, bad, and awkward roller coasters in human relationships, will be recorded live in concert tonight, Monday, August 19th at The Cutting Room at 8pm.

Primary Stages (Casey Childs, Founder & Executive Producer; Andrew Leynse, Artistic Director; Elliot Fox, Managing Director) have announced casting for the World Premiere of Bronx Bombers, conceived by Fran Kirmser, commissioned by Tony Ponturo, and written and directed by Tony Award nominee Eric Simonson (Broadway's Lombardi). Wendy Makkena (Broadway's Side Man) and C.J. Wilson (Happy Now? at Primary Stages, Broadway's The Big Knife, Glengarry Glen Ross) will play Carmen Berra and Babe Ruth respectively in the production featuring previously announced Francois Battiste (Broadway's Magic/Bird), Chris Henry Coffey (Off-Broadway's Water by the Spoonful), Bill Dawes (Broadway's Lombardi), Christopher Jackson (Broadway's In the Heights,Memphis), Keith Nobbs (Broadway's Lombardi), Joe Pantoliano (Emmy Award winner from HBO's 'The Sopranos') and John Wernke (Broadway's The Lyons). Bronx Bombers runs September 17- October 19 at Primary Stages at The Duke on 42nd Street. Opening night is October 8 at 7pm.

59E59 Theaters welcomes the return of Fishamble: The New Play Company with the New York City premiere of I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW (THE WHEELCHAIR ON MY FACE), written and performed by Sonya Kelly and directed by Gina Moxley. Part of Origin's 1st Irish at 59E59 Theaters, I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW (THE WHEELCHAIR ON MY FACE) begins performances on Tuesday, September 10 for a limited engagement through Sunday, September 29.

New Worlds Theatre Project has announced that it will present the English language premiere of Peretz Hirshbein's Yiddish play, Carcass, beginning Saturday, September 7 at 7pm at HERE, 145 Sixth Avenue. The opening night is set for Thursday, September 12.

Fat Violet Theater is thrilled to announce the NYC premiere of Ronan Noone's THE COMPASS ROSE, directed by David Sullivan. The sixth annual edition of Origin's 1st Irish, the world's only theatre festival dedicated to Irish playwrights, runs from September 2 to 29. Curated and coordinated by the New York-based Origin Theatre Company, the month-long festival features plays and productions in a stimulating array of styles, by contemporary Irish playwrights from Belfast, Dublin, Boston and New York.

Primary Stages, in association with Ted Snowdon, launches their 29th season with the New York premiere of Harbor at Primary Stages at 59E59 Theaters. Following two highly successful sold-out runs in London in 2012 at the Jermyn Street and Arts Theatres, Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production of Samuel Beckett's radio play ALL THAT FALL starring Eileen Atkins and Michael Gambon will have a limited run at 59E59 Theaters in New York from Tuesday 5 November to Sunday 8 December 2013.

Louis Armstrong House Museum welcomes Peter & Will Anderson Sextet, one of NYC's hottest jazz bands, to Louis's house on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 2pm. This is the final concert in the museum's Hot Jazz / Cool Garden Summer Concert Series and it's a must-have ticket this summer.
