The awards ceremony was seen in more than 160 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements. The gross is down 29% from last weekend, considered a relatively small decline on any weekend. Rob Marshall's NINE which had earned the ninth spot at last weekend's box office has dropped from this weekend's top 10 list.
