GLEE Ends on a High Note with 8 Million Viewers

The season finale of GLEE ended on a high note last night, with 8.1 million viewers tuning in. Overall, the season has been a rousing success, becoming FOX's top grosser and generating 2 chart-topping albums, not to mention making stars of it's cast.

Gaspard, Frank Gero, Cheryl Wiesenfeld, Jeffrey Sine, Michael Rose and Robert Cole announced today that Daniel Craig and Hugh Jackman will star together on Broadway in A STEADY RAIN, a critically acclaimed two-character play by Keith Huff. Directed by Tony Award nominee John Crowley, A STEADY RAIN begins previews on Thursday, September 10, 2009 and opens Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street) for a strictly limited 12 week engagement through Sunday, December 6, 2009.

NBC rolls out the holiday festivities on Wednesday, December 2 (8-9 p.m. ET/PT) with the 12th annual 'Christmas in Rockefeller Center' telecast, featuring the lighting of the world's most famous Christmas tree, and star-studded talent performances. 'Princess and the Frog' Leads Annie Award Nominations; Winners Announced 2/6

The International Animated Film Society, ASIFA-Hollywood, announced nominations today for its 37th Annual Annie Awards recognizing the year's best animated features, television productions, commercials, short subjects and outstanding individual achievements in the field of animation. Walt Disney Animation Studios' 'The Princess and the Frog' received eight nominations, including Best Animated Feature and individual nominations for animated effects, character animation, production design and voice acting, while its 'Prep and Landing' received nine nominations including Best Animated Television Production and individual nominations for character animation, character design, music, production design, storyboarding and writing.
