Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater have announced programming running March 11th - March 24th. Performers appearing at Birdland Jazz Club include Maria Schneider Orchestra, Emilio Solla & La Inestable de Brooklyn, Christian Sands Trio, and Canadian Jazz Collective.

On Saturday, April 30, the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey held its largest fundraising event of the year at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit. Art & Soul, VACNJ's first in-person gala since 2019, raised a record-breaking $296,000 to support the Art Center's powerful arts programming.

The event, which will take place in Summit, NJ, is the Art Center’s largest fundraiser of the year, featuring live music by Gatsby Now, cocktails, and a seated dinner. The main attraction of the evening is the Art Center’s signature silent and live auctions of contemporary art highlighted by the return of celebrity auctioneer CK Swett. This year will mark the return to an in-person celebration for the first time since 2019.

Woburn Golf Club in England sets the stage this week for golf's final major championship of 2019, The R&A's AIG Women's British Open, taking place Thursday-Sunday, Aug. 1-4. The second of back-to-back major championships on the LPGA Tour, the AIG Women's British Open will feature 45 total hours of tournament coverage on GOLF Channel and NBC, the most number of televised hours for an LPGA major championship in history.

Golf Channel and NBC will combine for 28 hours of live tournament coverage, the most number of live hours for an LPGA Tour event in 2018.
