Joyseekers Theatre brings Gorky's classic Russian play, The Lower Depths, to contemporary American audiences in this brand new adaptation by Australian playwright Tim Redmond. Set against the backdrop of 1930's depression-era New York, Redmond draws startling parallels between pre-revolution Russia and a country quickly losing its grasp on the American Dream.
