Synchronicity Theatre's Family Series production of Wonderland: Alice's Rock and Roll Adventure will run December 10, 2021 – January 2, 2022. Individual tickets start at $15.

The show was adapted from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There. The show was created by Rachel Rockwell (book, lyrics) and Michael Mahler (music, lyrics).

Synchronicity Theatre's production of Mirandy and Brother Wind will run March 12 – April 4, 2021. This family musical adaptation of the popular children's book about a young girl determined to capture the best partner for the junior cakewalk jubilee, is suitable for ages three and up, and can be experienced “In the Theatre” or “On the Screen.”

In light of the rapidly developing COVID-19 situation and in line with WHO and CDC guidance to limit the interaction of people in larger groups to diminish disease transmission, Theatre NOVA will postpone its production of 'Arabic to English' by David Wells, that was scheduled to open on March 20, 2020. 'Arabic to English will now run August 7 through August 30.

After the success of Theatre NOVA's inaugural Michigan Playwrights Festival four years ago, the theatre is continuing its semi-annual tradition and announcing a call for submissions for this season's festival of new plays by Michigan playwrights. The next festival will run April 22-26, 2020. The deadline for submissions is January 1, 2020.

This year's programme sees the return of popular cabaret group, the Foo Foo Fighters, who are bringing three evenings of burlesque to the first week of the festival with Nightmare on Middle Street, Dr Frankenbubble's Spoopy Soup Cabaret providing the late-night variety shows in the second week. Popular local entertainer Professor Elemental also makes an appearance with his Tales of Wrong for one night only.
