Christopher Aaron Parker

Born in Augsburg, Germany to two parents in the military, Chris Parker grew up moving often and took solace and enjoyment in reading voraciously. After graduating in 1994 from the same high school his mother, Rosa Montano, graduated from in 1972, S.F.B. Morse in San Diego, CA Chris joined the Army himself and was trained as an interrogator (Airborne) where he was stationed in Seoul, South Korea, working in military intelligence and attending classes at Yonsei University for a short time. Getting out of active duty in 2000, Chris decided to placate his creative yearnings. Being a blues guitar lover since a teenager, he actively played around San Diego weekly while teaching himself the art, history, language, structure and business of film eventually starting his own production company, BitterSweet Productions. He rejoined the California National Guard where he became infantry qualified and started trying his hand at acting, surprised with each and every time his efforts were validated with praise. With the birth of his daughter, Penelope Jean Parker-Smart, in 2010, Chris decided never to get shot at for any reason on a permanent basis and fully devoted himself to his writing. His first 10 minute play, The Audition, was picked up by San Diego's Old Globe Theater for their New Voices Festival on 13 December 2013. Much more is expected to come from this prolific and creative story teller!
